French Food
French cuisine is a unique, cultural experience, combining flavorful,
nutritious foods with beauty and art. Experience French cuisine during
your stay with us: an art, a tradition
a way of life.
On our tours to France, you will be served 4-course gourmet dinners:
We will be happy to accommodate vegetarians.
- Hors d'oeuvres: served before the main course.
It could be a French onion soup or a salad like the "Salade
Lyonnaise": frisee lettuce, bacon, croutons, a poached egg
and Dijon vinaigrette.
- Main dish: it could be fish, poultry or meat accompanied
by a vegetable garnish.
- Cheese Board: They are more than 400 different
cheeses in France. Each night, you will have the opportunity
to taste 3 different cheeses. Cheese is always served with
baguette.
- Dessert: One of our guests' favorites is the raspberry
cake (and of course chocolate cake).

Our chef Valerie:
On the tours taking place in our French guesthouse ("La belle
France" tours and painting tours), Valerie will be your chef.
Valerie lives in the French Alps when she doesn't travel the world
in search of new flavors and wine. Learning and teaching are her
passions, and she has always dedicated her life to sharing her
culinary and cultural knowledge.
She has been creating successful gourmet dinners for French Escapade
since 2003 focusing on pairing food and wine, but also pairing
food and culture. When serving you her specialty and a paired
wine, she will also share with you a bit of history associated
wth the meal. Every night at our house, you will enjoy 3 different
wines.
By pairing well-elaborated daily visits and evening eating experience,
we want to give our guests the unforgettable feeling of discovering
France in an authentic way. |
